Hump back bass

I've notice on several of the photo's and in several of our tournaments lately. That there seems to be a lot of large mouth bass coming out of Chick. with hump backs or hump noses.
Does any one know why ?????? There really seems to be a lot of them this year.

A couple of the smallies we caught at the Spotfest 07 at the dam had the same type thing. I have heard it is from some trauma when they are very young. Probably from a run-in with aggresive spotted bass that think they can eat them, figure out they cant, and spit them back out!???

I caught one here a while back and posted a pic. I think it was rsimms that said it was a some sort of virus they catch that attacks the spinal cord.
