Hunters Safety Course

We are going to have a Hunters Safety Course at New Salem Baptist. The class is going to be on CD, and the test and field day is going to be in late October. Space is limited, but I may have some openings.Let me know if you or someone you know wants to take it.

I have a neighborhood kid who admires Hunting and the things I do... He does not have a father in his life. I want to take him under my wing and get him involved in a better life.

Remember, this is the CD course. They have to finish the CD course and pass it. Then.....they take the affidavit to the class. It's basically a review, test and shooting exercise. You just can't show up for the one day. When I had traditional classes, people would call about coming for Saturday. I had to explain the CD class and the traditional class were two different critters. Good luck on the class! Mikie, have you listed it with the Region III office? If so, you will get more than you can handle.

We started a Sportsmans Sunday School Class at New Salem Baptist. I have several who want to take the class and I, m sure we will have a few openings. Tony Sanders has graciously donated his time to help us with the course. He just graduated 70 out of a class, and I appreciate Him helping us this late in the year.He is a hunter and I don't want to over load his schedule, or take away from his hunting time. I told him to get 20 to 30 cd's. I am suspose to pick them up Sat. We are going to give them out Sun. at Church. We hope to have the test and field day on Sunday Oct 28, around 12:30 or 1:00. I think it's great that you guys want to help these young people get started hunting and fishing. I am thankful I had a father who taught me. I will try to accomodate all that we can. If you don' have a Church come visit us Sun. Pm me if you want to take it for sure so I can save you a spot. Next year maybe we can get an ealier start. Thanks.

I got the CD's for the Hunters Safety course to be held at New Salem Baptist in Soddy-Daisy. I will have them at church tomorrow. Space is limited, and we have about a month to get prepared for the test and the field day. Contact me ASAP. if you are interested.
