Hey guys, if any of you are readers, I strongly suggest you getting Michael Waddell's new book "Hunting Booger Bottom"! It is a fantastic read and tells his story of growing up in a po-dunk town and moving up the ranks to becoming one of the most recognized outdoor enthusiasts alive today. He has some hilarious stories and some very sincere ones as well. I just started reading it yesterday and am already over half way done with it. I can't put the thing down! Ya'll check it out!

Saw his new show " Bone Collector" a couple of weeks ago and I enjoyed it. They all seem like down to earth country boys. I dont know if I could handle getting in a stand with Miranda lambert and Tiffany Lykosky!

I wouldnt be doing much "hunting"....but I bet ya I'd be ALL rutted up emoLaugh

They really are all down home boys. That's what I like so much about this book. It shows his life growing up and how he made it to the big time being an ol redneck from Booger Bottom. And you know, with all the money Waddell has made over the last 10 years, you still wouldnt know it. He lives in a 2800 sq ft house, has 1 truck, his wife has a suburban, and he just doenst live extravagant like so many celebrities do these days with 20,000 ft homes and 10 cars. He's definitely a guy I would love to go on a trip with!

Funny story, I was talking to my accountant a couple years ago, he knew from my expenses, I hunted a bunch back then. He said he had a client that did it for a living, (so what,... I am thinking), he says, he even has his own show. (again I am thinking, yea, so do a lot of folks), he says I bet you know him, his name is Michael Waddell. LOL...Yea, hes kinda famous around red-necks now-a-days I told him. Even funnier, I bet my whole salary is what hes making a day right now. :(

Probably right Spur. Although I do know that when he got started with Realtree back in the mid-late 90s, his salary was a whopping $18,000.....
