hunting lease

i was wondering if any of u guys knew of any hunting leases i could get on for turkey hunting and deer hunting it dont have to be both i just really need a place to turkey hunt .........either lease or just permission......thanks

I dont know of any leases off the top of my head, but let me suggest looking into public land. Most of the birds I have killed close to Chattanooga, came on ground anyone can hunt. I like to hunt the high-ground and rarely run into many hunters. Just get a '11 Hunting guide and a good map and you could get your bag longbeard pretty easily.

Thanks......the reason I don't hunt public land much is because of the hunting pressure but I will keep it in mind and thanks a lot I appreciate it

I have found birds on several public places that had very little pressure. Most of the birds I have taken from public land came durring the 3rd week in April and have had time to get called to. Sometimes you gotta play ninja and keep that call in your vest...

Farm Bureau used to have a magazine with listings of leases. Not sure if they still do.
