18.5 lbs won it , he also had the big fish 8lbs7ozs caught all the fish in Candies Creek in about a foot and a half of water on a blue & silver Rattle Trap.
I fished the flats at Agency Creek for about 2 hours B-4 dark and caught 9 slab crappie on minnows.

We had a similar day just across the river in Roger's Creek. I wanted to check out Agency Creek but as we idled in we decided it was a too crowded. I never knew there was a stump row on that flat to the left...caught several spots there in the summer when the water was up on a C-rig and thought it was rocks.

guys ..I spent 3 hours trying to get into those two creeks and obviously never found the right route....went into rogers on the east end ....down the little narrow channel and was trying to got to the major point about 2/3rds of the way back on the right..thinking it would deepen up but never got out 1.3-1.5 foot of water even after several hundred yards..trolling motor kept getting into the bottom...finally gave up and left...did the same thing in the lower entrance to candies ...I`m guessing there must be some deeper water somewhere back in there in both creeks....didn`t try the little narrow channel that runs along the long skinny island going back into candies...after getting frustrated and wasting way too much time we gave up....about the time we left 2 aluminum boats came out that little narrow channel in candies...by that time the thunder was starting to rumble and we decided we didn`t want to get in somewhere we couldn`t get out of in a hurry if the lightning started.... and it wasn`t long before it did...did we just miss the right entrance or what??...looks like there might be some good places back in there with about another foot of water..maybe by my tourney next weekend ...any advice would be appreciated..

Snuffy, as you come into Roger's Creek off the channel, follow the left bank. As you come around the corner, it doubles back towards the Hiwassee into a small bay. The ditch running through it ranges from 5 to 8 feet and there are some nice laydowns in the back corner.

Candies Creek is best accessed from it's lowest entrance...it has a long, shallow flat on the left side and the right side averages 15 feet or so. I'm not sure how far back you intended to go. Did you make it to the massive stump field?

Snuffy, the more I think about it I believe the middle entrance to Candies Creek from the Hiwassee is the deep one. It is just below Rogers Creek.
