I am lucky

I was finishing some of my honey do chores before the dog fight tonight.One of them was to finish mowing the lawn. I jumped to it being in a hurry trying to get it done. Was going a little faster than ii should of been. Well to make a long story short . When i went to make a turn ive done a thousand times i didnt cut the mower sharp enough. I put it in reverse to get another shot at it . hit my brake and there wasnt one. I kept rolling backwards to the big bank .needless to say i went down the bank that is about 30ft straight down the first thing i did wasjumped off. but that didnt stop it itflipped on top of me . Now I have 3 bruised ribs 1 hairline fracture on my rt arm. and sore as you know what . Wont get to fish tonite. But I am lucky and thankfull that God had his hand on me. It could've been alot worse

It is a wonder you are still alive, you could have cut yourself in two or lost an arm and a leg. A power mower is one of the most dangerous pieces of equipment made to sell to the masses, I guess we take everything for granted when we operate them. Glad you are doing ok, the good lord must have taken a likeing to you.

Im glad you are ok. I had something similar happen to me last year, but i got lucky and didnt flip, i just ran over a stump with my blades engaged lol. Maybe some of us fellow cff members can scrape up enough dough to buy you some brake fluid, or better yet, some training wheels lol. What do you say guys? i start the pot at $5.emoLaugh sorry man, i had to do it.emoSmile

i got 5 and two rims and tires off my 18 wheeler sure we can find a member with a welder to helpon the traning wheels emoPoke

Sounds like a bad start to a fishing trip. Sorry to hear about the mower, but grateful that you are doing ok. God does watch over us even when we aren't paying attention. Hope you get well soon and out there ripping the fish!

dang. one of those crappy things that could have been much worse.
the big guy upstairs was definitely watchin out for you on that one
