Hi, I'm Juggo,
Unless disaster strikes, I am moving from Maine to Hixson TN next month and I can't wait. I am bringing my 13 Foot Boston Whaler (1980) down. The Chum Bucket has a 25 HP Honda on it. It's a heavy sturdy boat and can handle pretty rough waters in fact I had it moored in the ocean for a couple years (they won't sink It's set up for fishing, got rod holders and a Raymarine fish finder etc on it. Good for two people to fish and will have to do for now. Hoping to upgrade eventually.
Growing up I fished in the ocean and Western ME Lakes region. The freshwater fishing in ME has been epic in my book with regular 2-4 # and plenty of 6+ # LMB. Some hefty SMB too.
From what I've seen around here looks like I'm about to die and go to heaven. ME state record for LMB is 10#s. I realize I'm not going to show up and start catching 10#ers but I am really looking forward to exploring Chickamauga and the Chatty area in general.
This forum is so freekin awesome! Thanks to everyone for making it happen, it's just what I need. Looking forward to the advice, tips, stories etc. and hopefully can contribute with my experiences as well.
Damn glad to meet you,
Juggo
