Mark Barron won't be ready for bowl

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama coach Nick Saban says safety Mark Barron will miss the Crimson Tide's bowl game because of an injury to his right pectoral muscle.

Saban says Barron had surgery to repair a torn muscle and started rehabilitating the injury, but won't be back in time for a bowl. Barron was hurt in the regular-season finale against Auburn.

He told reporters after the game that he had torn his pectoral trying to break up a second-quarter touchdown catch by Emory Blake.

Barron said it affected him later on a 70-yard TD pass to Terrell Zachery when he couldn't raise his arm.

Barron leads the team with 75 tackles and also has three interceptions.

He was a third-team All-American last season after leading the Southeastern Conference with seven interceptions.

Not good for the bamar group that was the weakest link....just got weaker!!!

Here is hoping this brings him back to T-town in 2011. But if he returns next year, will Hasean Clinton-Dix's commitment stick?

A Spoon Impersination would look somthing like this.

1)Cams dad and a sports agent shopped him to MSU. I know that and you should.

2)Did Cam Know this. I don't know but I would bet the farm he did! (please save the they can't prove it.)

3)Has anything involving the Newtons been uncovered by the FBI while investigating a large group of the AU BOT and boosters on various charges? I don't know and the NCAA does not know at this point!

4) Is the investigation closed? No, and you should know this.

5) What type of ethics do the Newtons have? I don't know. I have heard rumors of laptops, test cheating etc. may only be rumors again I don't know.

6) In the age of cell phone recordings and videos. How much would a taped slip up from Cam ( drunk or sober) that he knew the plan to shop be worth? I know the answer to this one! ALOT more than Cecil was asking on the pay for play.

7) Would the NZAA unleash there wrath on AU if he had a loose lip in the next five years? Answer that for yourself.

8) Does Cam have a big mouth? I don't know emoBigsmile

9) Is the NZAA thru with AU? I don't know.

10) Is is over and done with? you tell me.

11) Will Spoon say I told you so? No, he has way to much class for that! He will tell you like he told you about Kiffin,Bryce Brown, the receiver that just got kicked out of USC(can't remember his name) ect. and just laugh his butt off when it happens and it will.
