i say this in regards to gville. its as simple as this. gville sucks compared to what it has been years past. yes its still capable of producing some big sacks. i personally feel it is from the year round pressure and some other factors but most from being over fished. from early spring to mid late summer there is a big tournment every weekend. ppl say ah that doesnt have anything to do with it its from this or that blah blah blah. i know chick has been on fire and now out of towners will be coming from all around and beatin it to death especially spring. there really isnt anything u can do oh well. i am howwver lookin forward to seeing whats weiged in when the sealy outdoors big bass splash comes next year. just my 2 cents worth. thanks

I totally agrree with you. I have fish sealy BBS for years, mostly at guntersville and sam Rayburn and I noted on sealy outdoors that's it's just too small of lake. It's nothing compared to sam Rayburn where you have a ton of boat ramps etc etc.... I wish they would stay away from the chick and just keep it on guntersville.

I haven't seen a 2017 schedule for the Big Bass Splash or that there will be one on Chickamauga but hope it is not true. Though I admit I have fished the Big Bass on Guntersville several years, it is a total rat race even with the size of lake that Guntersville is. Chickamauga just isn't big enough in comparison and doesn't have the lodging that is at Guntersville either. Personally, wouldn't bother me if Sealy and FLW and BASS all went somewhere else for a few years.

yeah. there coming maybe ppl should have kept there big catches quiet over the years lol. out if towners come in starting early spring and rape the lake majority of them keep what they catch while there camping. gville is supposed to be changing creel limits from 10 per person to 5 per person. plus pulling 40 conservation officers from other lakes around the state from jan to end of may or june to help patrol lake.

So, you guys believe Gville has went down that much? Is it worth the drive and license fees?
