For the last couple of days i have tried to track down a problem i have been having with my auxillary livewell switch, My problem is that its a lighted on/timed switch when you put it in the timed position it works fine when you put it in the on position nothing it doesnt even light the switch up, I've checked continuity on the switch every thing checks good,i have swapped the round timer modules with no change swapped switch with the one next to it and still does the same thing recrimpped terminal ends same story, What am i missing? All i know is that i'm tired of guessing at it I have had the switch pad out of this boat so many times i could have done it blindfolded so if you guys got any ideas I'm all ears. thanks.

have you bypassed the switch with a jumper? you should have a red wire coming from the positive side of the battery, probably fused. If you connect it to the wire from the pump, most likely brown with a white stripe AND the pump runs, it should be in the switch OR where 99.9% of all DC problems occur, the ground. Also, do your hands have silicone/dielectric grease all over them, when you work with the wiring connections? they should, a little bit goes a long way.
