I have a question about trucking, ANY help would be appreciated

Im kinda in a pickle here. Im going off for orientation for a flatbed trucking company in a week, and they need to approve a parking place for my rig before i get it. The question is....does anybody know where i can safely park a tractor trailer on the weekends when im home? I would be willing to pay monthly also. I live off of bonnyoaks, so the closer the better. Thanks in advance-jeremy

Im not sure of any place in town but If you know anyone with a solid parking lot (ie gravel, chert) i would ask them if they would mind if you parked for the weekend.

Just a word of caution though, any time I have heard of a truck getting impunded for illegally parking the bill is outrageous. I hear it everyday, make sure where ever you park that its not posted or you dont have the permission to park there.

I would see if there are any local business' that has a large lot that are shut down on the weekend who would mind you parking there. Most places will let you as long as you ask.

One more thing, dont drop your loaded trailer on asphalt in the summer time...

You say you live off Bonny Oaks. I have seen rigs parked at the Bi_Lo on 58. You might check with the management at Bi-Lo to see if they know anything. I also have seen a chip truck parked in that lot at night.

My son-in-law has parked his rig at this lot a couple of times without problem.

I think they are more less wanting a secure parking area since its flatbed? I will know more in a couple weeks on exactly what they want. I got permission from the fella that owns allstar embroidery to park in his lot but i dont know if Tmc will approve it or not. i would like to have a couple places in mind before they ask. If it comes down to it, i might have to find somebody that owns a secure lot vouch for me, even if i have to park it at allstar.

I have heard TMC is a good company. They have clean trucks for sure.
