I like beer.......

I was weaned on Budweiser, but I quit drinking it years ago. To me, light beer is like kissing your own sister; you get nothing out of it. I liked Corona, but I think I like Stella now.

Most of that stuff all tastes the same, watered down and tasteless. Now adays I will only drink coors, bud light, etc... if its free. The craft beer world is what I partake in now. Some good ones to try that you can get in the stores that have actual flavor are the dogfish head, sweetwater, blackstone brewery etc.. Right now I'm exploring the high gravity beers which are very good. I look at beer like I do food, if you go to a restraunt that has a passion for cooking they will seek the best ingrediants and create new things that will blow your mind, or you can get something that is done in mass quantity and it will all taste the same, fill you up but really isn't that great.

This! I will tell you one of my favorites but hard to find around here is Harpoon IPA...if you can find it give it a try. I love IPA's and this is at the top of the list for me.

I've tried some of those craft beers and most were okay. I guess I'm just old school. But if you offer me one, at least be sure it's ICE COLD!! Please! emoToast

That's what I was thinking Derek. Coors is my personal favorite

When I was in college the first time (circa 1974) my buddy and I drove my VW Bug to Ft.Sill, OK. to visit my brother who was in the Army there. We came back with something like 16 cases of original Coors loaded in that Bug. There was just barely room for us! I think we paid like $4 a case for it with the idea we were gonna get rich off of it. I don't think we sold one case of it, we just drank it. emoBigsmile
