RangerRob - 2/6/2008 9:20 PM Nice looking stick Tony ... as usual, FA did it right. Gotta love that TN handle - the only way to go on a fairy wand.

mallardecho - 2/7/2008 8:13 PM Dumb question, what is the blue tape looking stuff wraped around the reel seat? And what purpose does it serve? I know this is a rookie question, sorry.

No problem there rookie......the Tennessee handle is all cork, it doesn't have a fixed reel seat.... so when you attach the spinning reel you must tape in on the handle....1st you use nylon re-enforced tape and then you use 3-m electrical tape ...that's what the blue tape is....FA

Mallardecho:
If you look at rods, it is not uncommon to see black tape on rods and reels. Since FA is such a professional, he wanted to match the tape to wrap, so he went with blue. Also, I wanted to look good as I pull in record fish.emoCool
