Ill just tell you up front, Im a knife man. Im a sucker for a good looking blade, and I bet I have at leasst 40 knives or more. Also having cooked for a living, I had and still have very good blades for the kitchen. </p>

All this brings me to dressing deer, nothing pisses me off worse than not having a sharp knife at hand when Im in the middle of it. Im not sure where I got it, but Ive had a disposable knife in my pack for a few years and never used it, untill last night. I can tell youI will never go without one of these blades again. Its called Z-blade, its basicaly a scalpel, VERY light weight and man, these things are flat out sharp!! You had better want to cut whatever you touch, Im not talking about a slicing motion, if you touch it, its already cut. It is so sharp it cut through that little deers bones, Im anxious to try it out on a large deer. It is still plenty sharp enough for another deer too. I wonder how many it will cut!</p>

I see Amazon offers them for $7.16, Sm Mt knife works listed them for $4.99 I think.</p>

Hey Spur saw it today by itself in sportsman's. there is also another one just like it but you just change the blades out. Its 39.00$ but I think it would be worth it. Makes me wish I didn't get my flip N zip now. Oh well I will have to make due with what I got. All those are , are big scalpel's. Nothing is sharper than that nothing. I work as a EMT firefighter and thought about getting one from the hospital but did not due to the fact that it might brake. Well Spur glad to know it works so well and I might get one just to have as a back up.
