Depends on what you are looking for..............
A Mercruiser (and such) that use 4 stroke engines use a switch with 3 terminals with 3 positions. Most outboards use a switch that uses 6 terminals because of the ignition and choke systems, and still has 3 positions. Then you have 2 different style switches. Both have 6 wires on them but one you crimp/splice the wires and then other switch with 6 eyelets for screws that the wires would have ring terminals on them.
I have a new 6 terminal with eyelets that if used with a Mercury would need 6 ring terminals added to the wires to use it, you have to cut the wires anyway so you would simply crimp/solder on the ring terminals. If OMC then it will be a direct replacement.
Is this on your boat?? I have plans on coming to CFP tomorrow afternoon. Just give me a call if you need me to bring it. emoToast
