We went up and planted back on the first weekend in May only for them to receive 7 1/2 inches of rain the following week. It took a while but the plots started really taking off towards the first to middle of June. The pics of the food plots are where there was a clear cut in the woods we cleared off then planted. It is amazing the rich soil the midwest has to offer. So far we have had numerous buck pics and many doe and fawn pics. Fortunately the man we lease from lives on the property so we have trail cam pics coming to us quite frequently. Here are some of the pics from this year. Disregard a couple of the dates as the camera was incorrect.

It definately looks to be a potential for a promising season by all means. I wish we could get a pic of one seen in mid june the owner said was 20" wide then. Haven't seen him on trail cam but hopefully he is staying just out of pic range!
