This evening I cooked up a little meal for the family. The menu consisted on Deer tenderloin quick fried in Peanut oil. Smashed/mashed/creamed(whatever suits you) potatos with homemade gravy over the top. I mixed together a can of whole kernal corn and green peas cooked with Extra virgin olive oil and added a little S&P to taste. The last item is the reason that I am making the post. I like diced tomatos stewed in a sauce pan and served over Rice, However today I got one of my try-it differently ideas. Instead of rice I used fresh cottage cheese. I stewed a 28oz,can of Progreso Fire Roasted Diced tomatos until they barely started to cook down. I spooned them into Mayfields Cottage Cheese. I know what you may be thinking but you are so wrong. The combination of the taste of the stewed tomatos and the cold cottage cheese is worth posting.

I took some down the street where my exwife was at my son's home. I fixed her a plate of food since she was hungry and also to get her opinion. Rest assured that she will tell it like it is. She loved the taste combination almost as much as she did the deer tenderloin.

See ya'll later I'm going for seconds. emoHungry

I have been looking for a good ( good cooking that is ) family to adopt me, what ya think Liveliner? It must be good, it brings peace to a divorced couple.

Bawahahaha!!! She has been gone a long time. Like so many years that I have forgot and can not count that high if I did try to figure it out. We have remained friends as folks should. She has remarried and all are happy with the way things are.. She does still eat my cooking every chance she gets. She has been pleading for me to cook up some more Blue Cat filets.

I took my boys out at the nuke plant Sunday, we only caught 4, 4-7 pounds. We were using chicken gizzards. A fella there was using cut bait and catching lots of fish. Only a couple over 10 pounds that I saw though.

I'm going to have to try that cottage cheese tomato thing. To me it sounds good. But the tenderloin sounds better!!!

Flip ... ate the last of your donated catfish fillets last week. I surely appreciated every one of them. Yummy!

TT, I might come up with a mess of Crappie here in a few days. Would you want some if I do?

PM me your phone # again please, I have switched phones again.

Flip,
If TT does not want the donation, I will take all you catch! (316-6098) I'm not having much success in WT or Harrison right now but hope to catch some as the water falls. Being land locked has a lot to do with it but I hope to change that in the near future.
JSV

HEY HEY HEY .. JSV ... don't be cutting in on my source! :)

Flip .. 326-1515 Home, 504-2425 Cell ... yes I'll take crappie. And after I pick the cream of the crop, I'll drop a nickel and call JSV. hahahahahaha

Just kidding JSV .. I'll be happy to split them with ya. I'm working 25 hours overtime per week right now ... includes Saturdays ... so you might just get all of em!

I too really wish I was fishing for them myself.

Flip .. yer good in my book. Can I provide you with brownies? Cookies? Cake? in exchange for fish?

Thanks
TT

LL I would be playing with fire if I cooked my ex some blue cat fillets. She would surely want me back and that would cause some real difficulties with Ms.Sallie. She will just have to settle for the memories.emoUpsmile emoUpsmile

Cheeze, You got me to thinking. Come to think about it. I don't think that my Ex has ever left. I supported her for Fourteen years after D-Day and now she stays in another house that I own with my sons about half the time. "Free rent of course."
