ENTERPRISE, Ore. - The Imnaha and Wallowa rivers in Northeast Oregon will open to hatchery spring chinook fishing Saturday, June 13.</p>
Biologists with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife estimate over 5,000 adult spring chinook will return to the Imnaha River, a tributary of the Snake. Of those, approximately 80 percent will be adipose fin-clipped hatchery fish. On the Wallowa River, a tributary of the Grande Ronde, the adult run is expected to exceed 2,500 fish of which approximately 50 percent will be marked hatchery fish.</p>
