INCREASED ACCESS AND BOAT INSPECTIONS SCHEDULED MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND AT GREEN MOUNTAIN RESERVOIR
HEENEY, Colo--The Colorado Division of Wildlife and U.S. Forest Service will open an additional boat ramp at Green Mountain Reservoir to accommodate boaters for the busy Memorial Day weekend. Beginning Saturday, May 23, boaters may launch from both the Heeney Marina and the Big Green boat ramps. Trained, temporary watercraft inspectors and volunteers will staff both ramps and boaters should arrive with their vessels Clean, Drained and Dry to facilitate the inspection process. The McDonald Flats Campground boat ramp will remain closed due to low water levels.</p>
