I have a lease in Lawrence County Indiana that needs 1 more member. As of right now we have 9 members. If you have a buddy that wants to get on with you we will take just one extra.

The lease is 1400 acres. There are several crop fields in the center of the property that total about 500 ac. There is a camper on site that is first come fisrt serve but several hotels and restaurants about 5 miles away in Bedford. This is our first year of a five year contract on the lease. Licenses are over the counter no draw or lottery. There is a 130" minimun. I have talked several times to the biologist for that area (Mark Bennett) and he said that the area is some of the best in his region. There is a naval surface warfare center (NSA Crane)within a mile or so of our lease that is 63,000 acres. The biologist said they shut down hunting early last year because of testing or something and that would help the age structure for the deer herd. He said we would definitely pull deer from there.

Cost for this year is $2,000/member. If interested PM me or reply here. I'm at work right now but when i get home I'll post an aerial photo of the farm. I also have a DVD with lots of video and still pictures.

It's about 6 hrs. Google and mapquest say to take I65 to Bowling Green then Natcher PKWY to 231 but we've been up a couple of times now and I think the quickest way is I65 all the way to HWY 50 then over to Bedford.

What do the tags cost? Bow and gun? I hunt Illinois and its about the same distance. The bow tag costs me $430something and I have to sleep in a tent in a bean field. Also, How many people will be hunting this and how long has it been managed. Obviously you have my interest. I wont be giving up my rights to IL anytime soon, but may be interested. What is the bag limit and whats the scoop on food plots?

sent you a PM yesterday don't know if you got it but give me a call let me know if it didn't go through

We've hunted IL for the past 5 or 6 years and are tired of paying those prices. IN has from what I understand and early bow season a gun/ml season and late bow season. Each is around $150. IN is only a 1 buck state so if you tag out in bow season no need to buy the gun/ml because that season is for buck only. Our county does have 3 antlerless tags. The first doe tag I think will cost you around $125 but after that you can buy them cheaper. INDNR has a pretty good web site that explains all their seasons and costs.

We are going to try to keep it to just 10 people.

This is our first year on the lease but we did speak with 2 guys that leased it the previous 5 years and they said it was 130 or better the 5 years they had it and killed some decent bucks. Last year he said he killed a 158" 8 pt.

There are several feeders on the property. We can feed up until season. There are several food plot sites but we haven't had time to make it up there yet. Fall plots will be in for hunting season. We have everything just haven't been able to get everyone together to get up there.

Everyone on the lease is from this area. Some in AL. One in FL who will probably only make it up 1 week in bow season to hunt.
