I just bought a HB SI and was wanting to install it in my dash and was wanting to know if there was some kind of bracket I had to get to hold it in my dash?

what kind of boat? not sure if they make a bracket but Rivermont Jeff made his own and put it in his Stratos. Looks good also.

Lowrance have water problems, would not install in a fixed dash position. They are relly bad about taking water in the on and off switch. It is better to keep them on a movable unit you can turn out of the rain..Also less down time waiting for unit returns...

go to any car stereo install shop and ask for a backstrap. They have tons of it laying around and it will work great. It's easy to work with but strong enough to keep the unit in place. Might cost you a couple of dollars if that.
