installing side scan

Where is the best place to have a side scan installed I can prob do it myself but if something goes wrong n it was professional installed prob have better leg to stand on with warranty

Is it a hummingbird or lowrance? Unique boat products makes an jackplate bottom cover that makes transducer installation a snap. It has a built in mount that places the transducer at just the right angle in relation to the water and not the boat. The ethernet box can be easily mounted under the driver's console or front tackle/rod locker. Remember to put the unit on a seperate switch so it won't run down your battery when not in use.

I got one of the Unique Boat Products Plates for the bottom of the Jack. Nice product and is an easy set up for Low side scan transducer. Not sure but all boats are different in how they sit in the water when idling so some minor adjustment might be needed to get the transducer exactly as needed.
