Wow. That is very interesting. I recall back in the late 70's here in Chattanooga that someone claimed to have caught an ocean fish below the dam. Seems unlikely but who knows. I've also heard that there is a lake in the south american that has a population of sharks in it. From what I understand, bull sharks can do really well in fresh water.

yea i have heard claims that a flounder was caught downtown somewhere im not sure when but heard it from alot of people


BUT!!!!! This was from last summer and it wound up being a species that didnt survive in fresh water and was found out that it had been placed there as a hoax!!
 
There's a better chance of seeing a Shark in Chickamauga Lake, than a water moccasin!

-did yall hear about the dude that was skiing and fell into a nest of them? HAHAHAHAH!

They came back up and said they would not ever do that again! Those Cats were as big as VW'semoParty </p>
 
It would be interesting to take a camera and actualyl see the so called behemoths down there!!!

I've heard the same thing all of my life about the catfish around the dams...'big as a VW',supposed to have 'eyes as big as hub-caps' and could 'swoller a feller whole' emoFish emoLaugh
 
...and we all have been hearing that same story for at least 50 years! And tomorrow someone knows someone that there brother-in-law was scuba diving with and SWEARS to it...
 
If there were VW sized cats anywhere around.....ERICM would have done caught `em............ he`s caught some pretty close though !!
 
All I can say is... I'm the only shark in these waters! LMAO
