We just wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves as new members of the Forum. Tim and Ramona are Service Dog Trainers at the Goodwill Assistance Dog Academy (GADA), which provides animal therapy services and trained mobility assistance dogs for children and adults with physical disabilities. Each service dog receives two years of training, learns over 90 commands, and performs skills such as opening and closing doors, turning on and off lights, and retrieving dropped or need items. There is no charge to apply for or to receive animal therapy or an assistance dog. To be eligible, applicants must have a physical disability and reside in the Chattanooga Goodwill service area, which includes 23-counties in northwest Georgia and southeast Tennessee. We joined the forum to meet and interact with folks participating in a Fishing Tournament, which benefits our program, called Crappie for Canines, which is organized and operated by on of our volunteers - cuonthelake. We have enjoyed getting know people on the Forum, who are interested in Crappie for Canines and whose support and generosity makes our charitable services possible! We deeply appreciate the Forum for providing such a wonderful way for us to be able say thank you to the incredible folks here!

Tim and Ramona, we are so blessed to have you as part of the CFF family of fishermen. You guys are doing such a fine service to the disabled folks in our region and we are thrilled to have this canine for crappie tournament to help you guys in your endeavor to get these dogs trained and into service for folks who really need them. You have a great helper in Cuonthelake. I have helped teach her how to crappie fish and she is talking about the dogs much of the time that we are out fishing.

I want to encourage all you guys to come out and help with this tournament. Even the bass guys should take part. You only have to catch 5 crappie and it is for such a good cause and we will have a wonderful time of fellowship. We will be going out of HBSP on Sunday the 14th., at 8:00 AM, so pray up ahead of time and come on out for this fun event. emoBigsmile emoGeezer
