Flip, how are the new home starts up on the mountain?I did some stone work up there a few years ago and the place was really booming.Kinda strange seeing million dollar homes next door to shotgun shacks.

Their building a bunch up there. I live about half way up, my home is alot closer to the old shotgun shack price range than the the other way. Do you still do stone work? Can you get any flag stone at a good price? Say 2-3" stuff.

No, I just do it when I get really slow.My cousin is a stone mason He's really good but I hate working for him,It seems like every job that I do with him is for an Idiot contractor that doesn't want to pay him, and I don't get paid till he does.
Doesn't really suit me much anyway,I like things that line up perfect like tile and hardwood!Not the continuous jigsaw puzzle of stone!I usually end up turning a big pallet of beautiful stone into a big pile of useless rubble!

Thanks, I'll call him in the early spring. Thinking about building a little wall and Flag would look real nice. I'm not sure if my work will though. My wife tells me that we are going to put some hardwood in the house around May, I will holler at you then to get advice or to see if you might be interested. Since you mentioned that you install hardwood can I consider that advertising on here and expect a discount? HEHE!!
