Well, one thing this has done is to give you something to do while you are at home. lol I agree for many of the people it is not as serious as it is to others. The problem is that when the low-risk people continue business as usual and then they come in contact with someone in a risk category they easily infect this person. This can lead to death for this innocent person. If being selfish is more important than looking out for yourself and your fellow man then I can agree with you.

again, since youre clearly not gettting it: YOU AND YOU ALONE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SAFETY!!! your fear does not override might natural rights! the only way im coming into contact with you is if you come to where im at. IF YOURE HIGH RISK, THEN STAY HOME! but to tie up the rest of the world to try and protect a few.......now who's being selfish.

Dude my family has to eat. That means I have to get groceries. What do you want me to tell my kids? Boys, we have to go hungry because Rusty wants to be able to do EVERYTHING he wants to do when he wants to do it. Running into someone with your attitude and willingness to risk this is the reason the Politicians got involved. They started out asking people to shelter. That didn't work. I understand your point that the numbers here are not like they are in NY. The other side of that coin is, if it is you laying in the hospital dying alone and leaving your family to struggle for Lord knows how long, your attitude would be much different. Some people can't put themselves in other peoples place. It is hard sometimes to take a long hard, honest look at things. You have convinced me of one thing. You only care about you. I am done with this crap.

You are one of the last people on the face of the earth I want parenting advice from. We need to just let this go. Like I have told you in other posts. Hang in there. Tomorrow most of the ramps will be back open. May 1st you will have your life back. Sorry, you have been inconvenienced. I truly hope you live a long life. I also hope someday you are in a position to see things differently.
Best wishes Rusty.

Many ways and views to look at this situation that none of us anticipated or have dreamed we would experience. I see the logic in getting people back to work for their family welfare and to pay taxes to keep our country going. I also understand the group (I'm included) that does not want everything opened up too soon. I don't want to see our public health system overwhelmed with new virus cases so people who are not infected that take precautions continue to have their non-COVID health care delayed. Like my Mom who has severe back pain and cannot even get a cortisone shot during these times. Like myself who had eye cataract surgery scheduled for both eyes so I can see cancelled. I think it is very selfish to think it is okay to open things up when in reality, next to nothing has changed in terms of prevention of this virus’ spread. Simply because the contagiousness of the virus ability to overwhelm the health system for those of us who need care that is not related to this virus is my reasoning for not moving too far forward too fast. Take it or leave it - all this is, is my opinion like the rest of this chatter.

well, another post like it is supposed to be authentic. Rusty, note that it says this is someones opinion. You should just stick to fishing because obviously you don't know anything else.

I’m 45 healthy as can be woke up Sunday morning with fever 102 I was hallucinating scared my wife and daughter so they got me in truck rushed me to hospital all they could do is drop me at front door couldn’t even walk me in stayed there for 2 hrs they took me buy ambulance to memorial quarantined me for two days until test came back negative rushed in room with news said hurry pack all belongings your going down stairs out of covid area I was there two more days guess what I’m saying is until you or someone you know goes through it you cannot imagine what that was like 4 days with no visitors not even my wife guess what I’m saying is me and my family have been practicing shelter in place and it’s boring at times lot of Netflix but I would rather set home month or two than catching that virus and losing a family member over going fishing any way that my opinion hope to see The lake full in couple of weeks be safe

the last link i shared is an interview with the leading epidemiologist from Sweden, who has not crippled their economy and their people, its worth the watch and listen closely to his answers hes quite frank. this stuff im sharing isnt just my opinions, these are leading scientists in the world that have and are studying this virus and the circumstances but by all means continue to get your information from the fear mongering main stream media that got us into this bs.

I will be 80 years old this summer and my wife is about the same age and taking an infusion every two weeks against melanoma. I shop every two weeks, wearing a mask and staying away from people as best as I can, but there are always people who come very close without a mask. Males are much more likely to die from COVID-19 than females and older people much more likely to die than younger people. If either one of us comes down with COVID-19 then there is a good chance we will be in serious trouble. It is nice when younger, stronger people do their part in keeping a safe distance.

But you were exposed to an entire floor full of people that had it (covid area) while you were obviously sick meaning your immune system was compromised at the time and you still did not catch it. Doesn't that make you suspect about how contagious this virus actually is or isn't?

guys, i sit at a computer for 8+hrs a day and READ and WATCH this stuff, btw im in the medical field(for 25yrs). i realize most will probably never read or watch the stuff i share but i do it to try and help educate my fellow fishermen. the BS youre being fed via the msm is just that fear mongering, agenda pushing BS!!! as of RIGHT NOW there is NOT enough data to support the claims of lethality of this virus or that locking down the world is the right action. the reported number of deaths are being falsified to push the numbers and agenda.
