I had to go to Cleveland the other day. I passed three deer on the side of the road that were in three different places which appeared to have been hit. All three were young bucks. :( I have hunted most of my life and have noticed when you start seeing that the bucks are coming into rut. I have not even been into the woods since fishing is in full swing right now but I am about ready to start. emoAngel You guys who have been keep us all informed on what you see....rubs, scrapes, rut activity, ex....

Getting the deer fever, got to get a fix. emoTongue Jmax

Monday, I seen a small buck pushing a doe a bit. And have seen several rubs and scrapes show up the last week. If we get another good cold stretch I think it'll push them over the edge. Personally I'm hoping its in full swing opening day of muzzleloader.

guys I live in northeast ala and I don't think rut starts around here till late jan this is oct does the rut start that much earlier in tnn than it does here

I believe some of the very first does are starting to smell a little different to the boys. We still got several weeks till its in full swing in most parts of Tennessee. I went to Cleveland Wednesday and only noticed one small doe in the median..

There is 2 ruts per season all doe's don't come in to heat at the same time and it's not all to do with cool weather but with day light
