I would vote for Tony's at the art district. It's a nice family place and great food. Not too pricey either.

hands down Previnos the garlic rolls are to die for and you eat free on your birthday,, right next to the Rave

Moms on Market St but Provinos is a close second. Dont know if she still does it, but " mom" use to be in the kitchen most of the night preparing the food herself.

Tony's has the best pasta, Previnos has the best bread, Other than that... I'll make my own...

Not a huge italian fan, but I really like the calimari ricardo from Carabba's. I can only afford it when someone takes me out, but good stuff. Provinos is frozen food. Very few things made there in house, but still taste pretty good. I'd have to actually say Kanpai of Tokyo is my favorite italian resturant.

Fishmedic, actually I believe mom passed away a couple years ago. She was still working ther eand had gotten alzheimeirs. Once my wife wlked in and she was on the toilet asleep. IT not quite as godd, but still it authentic.

I don't do Italian much, but I like Provinos better than Olive garden. Neither are bad though. They are the only two Italian places that I have tried. Not my favorite places. I prefer Chinese over just about everything else.

Italian: Provinos
Chinese: China Star
Steak: Applebees
Seafood: Red Lobster
Breakfast: Cracker Barrel or IHOP close second.
Burgers: Probably Thickburger from Hardies, but I like the Central Park quickies too.
Country cooking: That place on Mahan gap road near the Ooltewah-Georgetown intersection, I forget the name.
BBQ: Sticky Fingers
Pizza: ??? I've gotten good and bad from every pizza joint around home.
Mexican: Amigos

Sorry guys, Provinos is not real Italian. If you are looking for the real-deal, and are not a tight-wad, (excludes Foodsaver I know) go to Cleveland and try Cafe Roma. The best meal you will have in this area, bar none!
