My boy Brett Favre is retiring, hanging up the cleats. I think it was time to go but they could have made the playoffs next year. I thought when the Giants beat Dallas and they had to go to Green Bay it was in the bag. But they couldnt get it done in that frigid environment. Brett just didnt act like himself in that game. Hate to see him go out like that but leave while you can. One of my favorite players of all time. The only reason I liked Green Bay.

Well, I can't call him my guy, but my family having season tickets to the Vikings over the last 15 yrs, I sure became a fan of one of our most hated rivals. You never know what's going to happen when he's in the game. He can throw an interception and come right back in and march them down the field. He is still the best PLAYER in the NFL. He can make something from nothing. Has the heart that you would hope everyone who plays sports would have, and is still having fun after all these years. He's a really great guy. Normal and a regular person. With millions of course... LOL But it is a milestone to see him retiring. Hate to hear it on one hand, but really glad that good Ole Green Bay will be "rebuilding" without him. My wife is from Green Bay and worships him..... Oh no.... Tears will be shed in Cheese country today.

Definitly my favorite player of ALL TIME!!! I know he's going to enjoy his time on the farm, hunting and fishing.

We should all start a pool as to what date he comes "Out of retirement". I mean, this guy LOVES the game, is still good at it, is still viable, and has a really, really good YOUNG team. Can't believe he left this year of all years. I think he'll change his mind before Aug 1.

How did you get an autographed ball from him, did you get to meet him. Thats cool. Would like to have an autographed jersey.
