Jacobmango, Sale Creek, Bass, 5/18

Put my kayak in at Sale Creek with some buddies the other night. We went up near where the creek begins and the water was so clear we could see 10 or 15 feet down to the bottom. Unfortunately we didn’t see many fish hanging out up there. We paddled back down the creek and started fishing once the water color changed. We each caught a couple bass. The biggest one came off a rocky bank near dark. It was probably 3lbs, caught on a green pumpkin trench hog. Really fun night, and it was nice fishing in the shade.

Good report, luv kayak fishing myself but these hot days seemed to have pushed the fish out deep. Went this morning boated 3 nice bass but as soon as the sun got up it was time to load the kayak.
