I got out this afternoon to try and catch some crappie for the first time in a month. I've havent been any for them because of GPS issues, but I got that sorted out. I wasn't sure what to expect with the high muddy fast moving water. The fishing was terribly slow and they just weren't feeding at all. That just goes to show they don't bite all the time because I was fishing around crappie most of the day. I took a few screen shots of the fish, only bad thing about side imaging is being able to see what you can't catch.
I did manage about 25 fish with 8 keepers I think. I fished a drop shot for crappie and caught some on it for the first time. I started out catching them consistently on one place, but I moved looking for better fish and it went downhill.
I did fish around some bait for about 45 min and caught a nice bass and 4 whites. I also lost a heavy fish on the rig. Atleast it was nice out.

It was a slow day for us too. Saw many fish on the graph, but they were not in a feeding mood. I like the pics that you showed. Did we see you in the Waconda bay area? emoBigsmile

We saw lots of fish on the graph too, with bait fish wads all around, but nothing was feeding in our spots either....Still was better than being at work! emoBigsmile

I have never had side imaging... I am not sure what I am looking at. Is there a web site that explains it for a dummy like me? Greg
