Only had a couple hours to fish, got on the water around 3:30, it was windy and a little chilly. Went up in wolfteever creek, Water temps around 50-53. Caught 4 largemouth in a rather quick succession totaling 10-2. Biggest one was 3-3. all my fish came on a jerkbait. I missed a few and unfortunately broke a rule and left em biting... they looked to be pretty fresh fish by the color but were GORGING up on some shad. Also saw a bunch of common carp doing their flop around out of the water spawning ritual so they must be getting ready to do their thing too... all in all really fun day for a quick trip

Awesome, sounds like a great couple hours. Were the fish you were catching still around deeper water following bait or starting to move up?

@Badbass Lures The fish I caught were all chasing bait in 10ft or less of water (I saw several sharking). I don't think they are up in bedding position yet but they are headed that way from what I saw.... @jhold water is still low, its about at normal winter pool now and CREEEPING up slowly... still pretty murky tho

Going to guntersville this weekin to mix it up with the pro's will report later.
