Although it is a heavy loss on my heart I'm relieved to know that Jerry is no longer strugglingin his bad way and is now in the everlasting lake of pleasures. Jerry was the greatest lure maker to handpaint each of his lures individually that I have ever seen. When I first retired in 2010 I would call on Jerry to make me some "specialty" spinners that I was white bass fishing with...and sit with him in his workshop-garage talking about life in general as he would handpaint all those jigs, chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, etc. and watch him actually paint (7) coats of different paints and epoxy on each lure to perfection before he would let it go out ofhis shop....a true perfectionist! For those of you that didn't know him very well he might have seemed a bit 'gruff' on the outside to run across him while fishing on the river, but I can testify that Jerry had a true heart of gold when you got to know him....Rest Peacefully in Beaulah Land emoAngel ....the maddog
