Hey guys I was just wondering if you all would want to get together and take up donations and cloths for Jimmy's family. I know they had insurance , but it doesn't cover everything it should. I know jimmy and his parents have always went out of their way to meet me for anything I needed and I would like to return the favor. Lets do what we do best and help a fellow fisherman out who has helped us tremendously.

Jimmy and his mom have went out of their way for me more than once. I met his mom at dock side on several occasions and Jimmy always tried to make sure my order was taken care of. I agree we should all try to return the favor.

Guys I was talking to a few people on here about doing a benefit tourney. I can get awards made and get some donations. If u set it up it will have to be on a Sunday. Who would be in for a tournament if I set it up.

I don't know if I could fish a Sunday but I'll be more than happy to donate entry fee money or whatever. Keep us all updated.

Dropshot is going to be kind enough to let us use the scales for the tournament. I'm gonna try to get a weekend picked out this week and ill make a official post. If anyone can get donations for prizes please let me know. I can get the trophies and ill have a few new rods to give out. The more we can get the better because all the money will be going to Jimmy's family. Thanks for the replies!

Why don't we just meet up at the park Saturday or Sunday or both and take cash donations for them. I'm fine with a tournament but what about the people that can't fish it but would like to donate? We could rotate out people to collect the money then deliver the money to them or have them pick it up, this way they can get what they need. I'm open for ideas and I'm willing to pitch in and do what ever needs to be done to help out.
