With school starting up last month I did not get out much; however, I did have a couple of solo trips with limited fish and one nice trip with Ty Konkle right before the kiddos returned to school. We fished an evening bite downtown and slammed a 61 lb Blue. I consider this Blue the toughest fish I've ever caught. Lots of drag slippage and lots of fun for sure. We even had a good crowd watching us bring in this bad boy. We did not catch any monsters but caught good numbers for the evening. We sure did have a lot of fun. I sure am looking forward to the Fall bite. Hopefully the quality of good fish will pick back up. MONSTERS DO EXIST!!!
