I thought about just saying look at the post from 9/4/15 and hit the repeat button. emoAngel

Derek and I knew there were fish in the grass. However getting to those fish is not easy right now and mostly you would have to punch through it with a big flipping bait. I have said before I hate that about as much as a colonoscopy or watching paint dry. emoBang With that in mind I told Derek we were going to start on edges and ledges to see what we might find. If it did not work we would head for the grass. It worked. We boated about 20 or so bass with most of them keepers. Our issue was no kickers. Any where from 12 to 20 foot on three baits. A deep crank bouncing it off the bottom, a jig or a shakey. Best three were a 4/15, a 3/14 and one about 3/5. Total weigh came in at 12.11 lbs. Shane called me at about 9:15 asking me what the weigh in time was for sure. I asked him what he had and he said 13 lbs!!!! emoDoh Me and Derek fish our butts off trying to get to his 13 lbs. emoRolleyes Come to find our his 13 lbs went 11.86 lbs. As far as the Criders, they kicked our butts. I don't think we ever even had that kind of fish in the area. emoRedface We took second and had a lot of fun boating at least three limits today. emoThumbsup

Can't complain when you get on a bite like that and the fish are cooperating for you. Just needed that six or seven pounder to be in contention for 1st.

Congrats to the Criders! emoWorthy Jmax
