Only had a couple hours of work this morning so I decided after I was done to go hit the lake in a mid-day trip. I am going to tell you all what, with what was weighed in this past weekend in the CBA, with what I caught today, with what I saw in the numbers of FLW boats out today...this week's FLW will be another to remember. I am going to predict that someone will hit the century mark in this tournament over the four days. There is just one heck of a number of bass out there willing to feed and fight. I hit four different places and caught bass in all four. Me and Derek last year about this time got on a roll and did it last year too. Our lake is just a "Perfect Storm" waiting to happen for the FLW gang. Between the Florida Bass being stocked up and many reaching their potential, the good amount of bream and shad for them to feed on, this lake is really something right now.

On the down side I think we better get ready after this tournament to see another wave of folks coming to our lake to fish. emoRolleyes You all know just like me it is not as easy as it may look. You got to know what to do and how to do it. Many may come but I bet a lot will leave disappointed. However the FLW guys will be figuring it out, their just too good not to.

Today was a deep bite for me. I missed the early morning shallow bite and the bass had already either gone into the grass or moved deep. I went deep and found them. Deep cranks, deep worms, swims and blades. The most shallow I caught them today was about 10 feet but most came from about 15 to 25 feet. I put on a show a couple times for a few FLW guys. Looked up there one time and had three FLW boats sitting around me about 75 to 100 yards just watching me. A couple of them did get so close I thought they were going to ask me for my autograph. emoBigsmile I am sure if they had known who I was they would have. emoTongue

Best five today would have been 24 and a half pounds. Boated two over five and five more over four. emoThumbsup Put about 35 or so bass in the boat. One heck of a nice afternoon if you don't count burning up in the heat and humidity. Those guys should have a good one. Here are the two five pounders, I did not take any other pictures, too many eyes watching.

See ya on the water! emoAngler Jmax

Are you guys hiring? Lol

Ha! Here I was all bragging about myself and just got a text from Derek and Chase. They have boated a 10 and an 8 this evening already. emoDoh Popped my bubble. Their first three bass in the boat almost weighed what my best five today did. emoRolleyes Jmax

Yep, they are chomping for sure Jim. Been up there three times in the last couple weeks and had great days each time. What a lake.

Derek and Chase kicked my butt if we were competing. Just got a text from Derek, their best five this evening went 29 lbs. emoWorthy Jmax

I want your autograph Jim!!

You got it Steve, you know it will be worth about whatever I sign. If I sign a piece of paper it will be worth a piece of paper. If I sign a hat, it will be worth a hat. So make sure whatever I sign is worth a lot. ;) Jmax
