Jmax's new home.

I have had several ask where I was moving to. I told them to an island inside Hot Springs Village, AR on Lake Balboa. It is one of those dream homes for me that actually came true. I feel very blessed. I was looking through some pictures of the area that were on some advertising for the Village and saw a picture of the island I will be living on. emoTongue How cool is that?! You can see the main land to the right, then you cross over to a larger island that has 8 homes on it and then you cross over to the little island I will be on. I labeled my home there on it. Looks like some post card. emoThumbsup Now that you see it, you got to admit, you can now see why I am moving, right? Should be heading that way next Saturday on the 8th. I have truly loved talking fishing with so many of you, made a ton of friends I would have never met if it had not been for this forum, loved fishing the CFF and CBA tournaments which I know I will miss and you all are very blessed to have a lake like the Chick right here to fish.

Have enjoyed your fishing reports, jokes, and many other inputs over the years! Nice place! You will really enjoy living on the lake since you can fish anytime you want, with even a few minutes here and there, without always having to use a boat. Keep posting and let us know how you are doing.

I will do it. I have been checking on the other lakes in the area and there are a bunch of good ones. Three within an hour drives that are on the top 25 bass lakes listed here recently in BASS. emoThumbsup

Congrats! I haven't fished Chic very much in years. But like a lot of others I enjoy reading your post and will miss your reports. I like to read them to see how Chic patterns compare to Nick. Thanks and I hope your new home is everything you hope it to be! I do have one question. Have you figured out how many of those fish with Chic. genes you can take in your live well when you go? emoScratch I know its crossed your mine! emoBigsmile

THEN, one of those darn Out of Towner Bass Fishermen come by your dock at dawn. Big engine, noisy talking. Throwing his lures into your gear on the deck. Remember, that was YOU before you got your castle! Ha Ha.

Seriously, I have enjoyed your reports for the couple of years that I've been up here. Just once, I'd like to have a big day like you do so very often. I am certain that you will repeat your successes in Arkansas. Good Luck. Good Fishing. and have a safe trip....

Thanks for all the kind words. I will miss the communications we have on here. My home here closed today(YEAH!!!), the packers packed a lot of my things today, we have one more day of packing, then Friday the moving Van comes and all will be loaded and hauled away for AR. I believe my internet will be turned off tomorrow so I will be signing off tonight.
