Johnson 150 Perry Rebuild

Not too good with the details and specifics of the issues, but bottom line, water got in my oil tank, and the lack of lubrication tore up three of my pistons pretty bad. I carried my boat up to Wrenchin2 and he tore it down in front of me and diagnosed the issue. James was open, honest, and very helpful with all questions I had. It took James about 2 weeks to rebuild the engine, and I picked it up this past Friday. We spent about 3 hours on Nickajack, and I could feel the motor getting stronger by the minute.</p>

For anyone who needs engine work go see James. He was great to work with, and his labor prices were the best value I could find anywhere. </p>

yup he rebuilt mine about a year ago and its has performed flawlessly since.. I learned a lot from him.. he might be a weirdo and wear womens clothes according to ditchdoc but hes a top notch mechanic with very fair prices... theres a reason so many people go to him. James if you ever opened a shop in Chattanooga you would stay plum covered up more then you are now lol

Agreed JDK, I learned a ton, and have a better understanding about my motor. Great work, and yes, his wardrobe is scary... DitchDoc should've warned me.

yea he even let me use a wrench a few times just dont ask him about the wrench and the battery incident LOL.. I actually know how a motor works now but i still couldnt fix one haha
