Jon Boat Motor And Trailer

I have an Alumacraft Jon Boat, with a 6hp mercury motor and galvanized trailer for sale, I bought this rig new in July of last year but relized that I need a larger boat now, so I am selling this one to apply the money towards a new to me boat. The motor runs great and starts, usually on the first pull everytime, boat does not leak and has the navigation lights installed on it as well as courtesy lights on the inside of the boat, it has a live well/dry storage made into the seat but does not have the hole drilled to fill it with water so I use it for storage, also comes with a 6 gallon fuel tank, I will sell seperate but asking $1300.00 for it all, or will consider trades on a bass boat.

good looking rig. how old is the motor?

To be honest I am not sure what model the motor is, I had it tuned up this past July and it runs like a new one, Like I aid earlier it usually starts right up if not on the first pull then definantly by the third pull, has foward,reverse and neutral as well, I can get the Name Plate info and check it out later this evening and let you know. emoScratch

The serial # for the motor is 2127037 so if I looked at the charts correctly the motor appears to be a 1967 model, It's hard to believe it is that old and still runs and looks great.

How long is it ? How much for just the boat and trailer?

It is 14 foot long and I will sell just the boat and trailer for $1000, that is about $500 or $600 less than I paid in July for them, and I have added the lights, I have all the paper work for it as well.
