I am in my ninth year working with Action Alarms on quotes for alarms, fire and cameras. I have not brought it up in a while. Recent break ins have prompted me to mention it again. I have been to several homes here lately that had break in or their neighbors were broke into and the home owners were afraid they were next. There seems to be a pattern. When back to school happens, the kids are at school, mom and dad are working, the home is empty and the thieves come out. A lot of folks think the thieves are mainly at night. Wrong, we may have some but most are right in the middle of the day. They start watching your movements and know when the home is empty. That is when they hit you. Never fails this time of year I see a increase.
Another time is at Christmas. Seems the tradition of putting a Christmas Tree in the front window with all the presents under it can have a bad outcome. Last year I went to a couple homes who had done this. Apparently with the tree showing in the front window, all the nicely wrapped new stuff under it, the thieves targeted those homes. The folks had returned to find all the presents gone from a home break in. emoBang That about a true to life Mr. Grinch story.
If you have an alarm system that is being monitored you are already in better shape then some. If it is more then $15 a month for monitoring of a land line and you would like to see if we can take it over give me a shout.
