Just got a new bow

If you've never shot before, you need someone to show you several things first. I'm sure you can find a good tutorial online, youtube or something. You need to know proper stance, grip, anchor points, etc... Its good to get to know your bow well first, so you need to practice all the time, at least a couple times a week. Considering this is the week before bow season, you've got a week to figure it out and practice... My suggestion, thats not enough time to become a good shot, so my advice is to practice at only 10 yards or 15 and don't take any shots longer than that... Not to discredit your abilities, but its taken me years to get confident enough to take an ethical shot at 25 yards or more... You also have a very inexpensive bow, you should get it checked out by a professional to ensure its safety...
