Just got back from the CBA dinner.....

emoThumbsup emoThumbsup Two thumbs up for the officers, sponcers, and the Sportmans Warehouse for what they were able to do. Looks like the CBA will be awarding $58,000.00 out to the anglers fishing the CBA classic. The cool thing about this one is you cannot loose. Even if you come in last place you still get a check. emoBigsmile Mo Mo Bar B Q was very good tonight and our very own RevoPro, "Colby" won Youth Angler of the Year. emoApplause He won $500.00 for that....plus....the team (me included) emoToast got two new Nuclear Rods. 7 footers and extremely nice rods. emoWorthy I bought the two reels that Damon (Cutthroat) had up for sell here while back. The two Rick Clunn reels and gave one to Colby for his new rod. The rod and reel makes for a very sweet set. emoTongue A big thanks to Damon for the deal on the reels and the donation of the two rods. emoThanks

I really have to say that this year has been a great year for me and Colby. We really enjoyed fishing with the CBA bunch this year and we are looking forward already to next year. Don't forget if you take a youth (16 and under) you only have to pay $60 to fish a CBA open.

The classic is coming up on Nov. 13th and 14th which will end the 2010 season for the CBA. The new president...aka...Churly is looking to make next year even greater. Anyone looking for a couple great bass circuits the CFF bass tournaments on here and the CBAs are two really good ones. emoToast

I know how you feel. Mine is now 20 years old and really is not all that much into fishing. He goes once in a blue moon with me. Strange sometimes how that works out. Colby's dad is not a fisherman, my son is really not a fisherman...so...me and Colby make a good team, we are both addicted to fishing. Jmax

I have fished with Caleb (Basspro96) and he is a good one also for his age. He would make someone a good youth partner for the CBA. emoThumbsup Jmax

The only thing I saw that I thought might be a problem is Steve Kite talked everyone through the hours and the classic program. He kept talking about ..."Saturday the times will be safe light to 4 and Sunday safe light till 3"....Saturday this and Sunday that. He never once said it is the Saturday and Sunday "AFTER" this coming weekend. emoEek I would bet some good ol'boys will show up "THIS" Saturday and wonder where everyone is. emoBigsmile

Even Colby walked away asking me if I was sure it was the 13th. emoDoh My good look'en better half was there and she asked..."Are you sure it is not this weekend?" emoGoofy Jmax

The Classic is the 13th and 14th. this was scheduled so we can all enjoy opening weekend of muzzleloader! last night was a blast, and i am looking forward to next weekend.

Was good to hang with you guys last night. I really thought more sponsors would show up though. Those Appreciation Plaques looked good. LOL!

Congrats to Jim and Colby for a great year! Although Colby...YOU need to SMILE more! Jim..you looked swelled up. (I have photos to prove it) You need to be humbled next year. These ringers you find will eventually stop helping you.

The presentation to Roy Dye was really nice, including the one to Coleman. I know these guys work long and hard to make it a good season for all...and for many years now.

Lance Campers..Wow. For a truck top camper, you guys should look at those things! Very nice and Fish-n-Fun has them!

Tow Boats...What an awesome service to have on this lake. Everyone needs to invest in their services!

I hope everyone does well I the Classic and congrats to all the success of this year. I know Justin will make it bigger and better next season.
