Sorry I could not be at the tournament tonight guys but we had a really big scare about 4:30 today.
It started about 9:45 a.m. this morning when my son had to have some oral surgery today.
He had all 4 wisdom teeth removed but the bottom ones had to be cut out.
I talked to my wife about 11:30 a.m. and everything went good, or so we had thought
They give him some pain meds, some nausea medicine and an antibiotic.
I got home from work about 4:30 and was fixing to get in the shower and get ready for tonight and my wife asked me to wake him for his dosage and he come in the kitchen to the breakfast bar and took his medicine. About a minute later he was walking to sit on the couch and passed out!!!!!! I saw him going down and immediately went to catch him. After I got him in my arms he came to after about 15 seconds. 10 seconds later he passed out in my arms again and it seemed as if he was having a small seizure. He came to about 15 seconds later and then in another 10 seconds he passed out again for about another 10 seconds. During this time, I had my son Brent who was gonna fish with me to call 911 while I was working with my 20 yr. Old son trying to keep him stable. About three minutes later the paramedics were here and they we absolutely wonderful. They checked all if his vitals, blood sugar and everything normal. They said it seemed as since he had not eaten since about 7 on thursday night and all the medicine and being put under for the surgery that it most likely is what caused this to happen. We had already started putting some chicken broth down him before the paramedics arrived and his color was coming back and lips were turning pink again. Please say a prayer that this is all it was and he will be fine. I could in no way explain the fear of holding your child in your arms and getting no response and feeling helpless. Man my wife was really upset and my older son was to. Im glad my youngest was at his sister's house and did not have to see it. I had no chance to get scared as all I could do was react to the situation. Afterwards I reflected on it and it was possibility the most scared I have ever been in my life. So please pray for healing and quick recovery from the surgery and the events that happened today.
Thank you, god bless, and I hope to see you on Saturday night at the tournament.

Just an update, he is doing much better and has no more problems. If you dont believe in prayer you need to check yourself.

Glad he is doing better Tim. The same thing happened to my step dad a while back. He had a mountain bike wreck and broke his collar bone and hit his head. They gave him meds and when he got home he started passing out and was having multiple seizures. We thought he had head trauma from the accident but it ended up being the meds that were messing with him. It's a scary thing to see something happening like that.
