Kayak fishing

I recently got a Kayak and fished it for the first time last week and had a blast. I read in an old post where there were kayak tournaments every so often but can't really find any info about when or where they are. Where do you other yakkers like to fish? I've only been up wolftever creek and liked it due to it being a little more protected. Any info is appreciated.

There is a Tennessee kayak fishing group on Facebook. Google will help. They have tournaments etc.

Chattanooga bass yakkers is a local club. Well ran and good guys. I have participated in them in the past. They have a web site and a facebook site. I fish from my kayak as much as I do my bass boat and catch more fish from the Kayak it seems. The best places for me on Chickamauga have been launching at the marinas and fishing the docks and surrounding areas. Even the private marinas have let me launch the Kayak on their docks.
