kayak for crappie

Hey guys. I live in SC but my son has moved to Athens, TN. I'm looking to make a trip up the last weekend in March. He and I are going to try Chicamauga in Kayaks. We've never fished this way. Any direction on location to put in or where we might have some success would be appreciated. Neither of us have ever been to Chicamagua, so we are starting out blind. Thanks for any advice.

Look on the Google map where Hwy 58 crosses Wolftever creek. There is a ramp there and you can fish the creek or go under the bridge and fish Harrison Bay.
