kayak race

Did anyone fishing River Park today fish far enough down river to encounter the racers from the Outdoor Chattanooga kayak race? If so, I was out there.

We launched from Ross's Landing, paddled upriver to the club house for CGCC, and back down. I paddled the 6 mile course in 59 minutes and 16 seconds and still didn't place among the weiners. Any other day and I might've gotten a call from the US Olympic committee for a time like that, but today I still had 3 boats finish ahead of me!

Whether fishing or paddling, it was awesome morning to be out.
