I know there was a thread about this. Here is what I found out. The adhesive that holds the keel guard in place is made by 3M. It is a double sided tape that is applied to the rubber in the manufacturing process. You can't buy it anywhere.
I had about 5 inches of my keel guard coming off at the back end. Clean the old adhesive off using acetone and a scraper taking care to not dig in the fiberglass or the rubber. (it took me about two hours. It is very tedious) The people at Keel Guard told me to use one of the following epoxies - Devcon, anchor tite, perma flex or flex net - I used Devcon high strenght two ton epoxy. Apply to both the rubber and the fiberglass and epoxy in place. Be sure to keep pressure on it during the working time - about thirty minutes. Looks like it adhered well. Have not had it back in the water yet.
