I know this is way early, but I want everyone to start thinking about this tournament. I have never run one so Wiskers has agreed to help. I would like for it to be a benefit of some sort but it does'nt have to be.

The new spots regs will be in effect, so I'm setting the rules to take advantage of them. Since this will be a 2 person team tourney you will be able to weigh in as many as 30 spots. If you wish, you can run downstream for your first 10 and then finish up in the designated area between the Dam and South Chickamauga creek. I hope that many of the participants will fish in the designated area.

After the weigh-in, you can release the large spots if you wish, but I would encourage eating-sized fish be kept for personal use or donated for the next picnic. Remember, the change in the spot regs is to encourage the "Selective Harvest" of spotted bass. This is a good way to promote that activity and I would like to see this type of tournament spread across East Tennessee. Can you imagine a "No Limit" spot tournament on Norris lake??? Could someone weigh in a 100 lb sack??

How about some of our CFF members who live up that way get one of those up and see what kind of response they get?

This is also a good way to introduce a young person to Tournament bass fishing. Please make plans to participate.
