KID FRIENDLY TOURNAMENT

Folks I am fairly new to Bass fishing. Several years ago I fished a good bit but it has been a while. Recently my daughter and I have started fishing and we are having a blast doing it. She has expressed some interest in fishing some tournaments. I have never entered a tournament, but it sounds like we would have a lot of fun. I want to make it a good experience for both of us and I know that the first impression will be big for her. I am curious what you guys would suggest for us to do to give it a try.

Start off with some of dogfights but they are over for the year

The CATCH tourney trail is fantastic. Run by a great group of guys with a Christ centered message. Not very expensive either. Perfect for you two.

Bring her out to fish the CFF trail next season, great group of people,that are willing to share some knowledge. You will not be disappointed

I fish with my daughter also. We have fished some of the three hour dogfights through out the week. But surning the summer there is a tournament out of Harrison bay state park every Friday and Saturday night from 8-2. Good run tournament and the guys have really accepted me and my daughter. It’s nice to go and fish and when she is not with me they seem to always ask where she is. Come and try it next year.
